Hi, I'm Jeremy Sanderson, owner of SANDERSONICON. In autumn 2007 I rode my Road King Classic (pictured right) 13 hours across Japan from Tokyo to Ishikawa to attend the Vibes meeting - Japan's answer to Sturgis. On the long ride home I pulled in to a service area for a rest, kicked down my jiffy stand, which failed to deploy fully, and as I leaned the bike over 800 lbs of beautiful Harley crashed to the ground, damaging the headlamp nacelle, riding lights and my pride! As soon as I made it back to Tokyo I started looking for a good center stand to make sure the same thing never happens again!
After looking at several options I imported a Wheeldock EZUp Centerstand straight from the USA. Fitting it took just minutes, with no special tools. Using it is a breeze, due to it's clever leverage design absolutely no lifting or strength is needed to pull the bike on to the stand. The smallest Japanese lady in my HOG Chapter (East Tokyo Chapter) had no problem placing my Road King on the EZUp Center Stand! Now my bike is easier to clean, service and pack luggage for my touring trips, and there's no risk of backstrain, or more importantly, of looking dumb in service area carparks!
In fact, I was so impressed with the Wheeldock EZUp Center Stand that I decided to become the sole importer of Wheeldock's product into Japan!
